Interested in CrossFit?
Before becoming a full-fledged CrossFit member we require all new members to complete our ‘On-Ramp’.

What is the On-Ramp?
The On-Ramp is six, 1 hour sessions that must be completed before attending the main classes. Over the course of the six sessions you will cover the 9 fundamental movements and numerous other skills used in CrossFit.
The first 3 weeks, (six sessions), you will spend time learning the mechanics (skills and technique) of what we do. Once we are confident there is consistency to perform the mechanics, we then introduce intensity. Each session you will be introduced to the workout of the day or WOD as we call it, these will gradually increase in difficulty over the 6 sessions. The reason we do this is to ensure all members training at Central Manchester know how to execute movement correctly and safely.
The 4th and final week will then be a chance to be introduced into the regular class to show off your new skills, or catch up on any sessions you’ve missed.
Building the community is part of what CrossFit is all about and is hugely important for existing members as well as our newbie’s. That’s why we run our On-Ramp session alongside the regular class, to give you a chance to make friends, not only with the people in your On-Ramp group, but with the rest of the Central Manchester community too.
The On-Ramp is for anyone new to Central Manchester regardless of experience or background.
When is the On-Ramp?
The On-Ramp starts on the first Tuesday of every month, and runs for 4 weeks. Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm. It will not be possible to join an On-Ramp course once it has started.

How much does it
£45 for the month
Alternative On-Ramp?
If you are unable to attend the On-Ramp on Tuesday and Thursday, or you would like a fast track to attend the regular classes, we can arrange one to one coaching as an alternative.
A minimum of 3, 1 hour sessions must be completed before attending the main classes.
It’s up to you how you divide the sessions up. You can choose to condense the sessions and complete all 3 in one week, or maybe spread them out and do one session, once a week.
We must advise that we cannot guarantee you will be ready to move into the regular classes after 3 sessions. Individual ability will determine whether this is possible.
If you are interested in booking 3, 1 hour, one to one sessions, we are also offering a special discount on this of £90.00 per person.

CrossFit Experienced?
If you are transferring from another affiliate or have been training CrossFit on your own and are familiar with the movements, then please let us know when you contact us. This way we can arrange a one to one session so that we can assess your level.
If you really are a fellow CrossFitter then you will know to leave your ego at the door. What we mean is, if we think you need some extra coaching before joining the regular class, please don’t take this as an insult. We simply want to keep you safe and training for the long term.
