The OUTLAW WAY is coming to MANCHESTER!

April Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April!

WHAT IS THE OUTLAW WAY?

Here is a snippet from Rudy Neilsen’s doctrine;

“CrossFit could be directed in such a way that it would look very much like a high intensity version of the Conjugate Method. I’ll give you an example…

We run 4, 6, and 12 week cycles at my gym. We do these with our general population clients because it give us something to focus on and gives every new wave of clients a chance to learn the focus of the cycle when it comes around again. Mostly we focus the 6 weeks on a main lift (Clean and Jerk or Snatch), a main gymnastic (ring work, HS work, or bar work), and some sort of squat percentage wave. Then I program at least some of our met-cons to help develop any of the things we’re working on.”

WHAT IS THE TRAINING CAMP?

The Training camp is for anyone wanting to improve as an athlete. This isn’t about how to programme or how to be a better coach, but how to be the better you!

“All sessions will feature instruction, demos and discussion of ways to think through WODs before performing them. Again, this will not be a beat down weekend, but will be an opportunity to learn to approach the sport with as much efficiency as possible.”

Competing in this years REGIONALS at Copenhagen?

The Outlaw Way training camp is even more beneficial for those competing in Copenhagen for Regionals, as it is an opportunity to be coached through strategies in each workout to help maximise your potential.

SCHEDULE

Here is the schedule for the upcoming training camp!

– Friday 20th April – From 6-8pm is our meet and greet Weightlifting session. Make sure you arrive around 5:30pm to get warmed up and ready for what has become a huge PR session.

– Saturday 21st April – We’ll get started at 9am with an introduction, explanation, and philosophy talk (it’s short, don’t worry). From there on for the duration of the Open we’ll be spending the entire morning session on the Open WOD for the week. We’ll get in another 2 WODs after lunch and all of you should be bringing any gear you would need for a competition weekend. We’ll finish up around 5pm on Saturday and head out for a group dinner at a TBD location (that sells Jameson).

Sunday 22nd April – will begin again at 9am, include a squat clinic, 1 or 2 more WODs, and a Q&A session to finish the weekend. We will be completely done somewhere between 1-2pm.
